an Exhilarating Scene

In the FIELD

Love is found

I will wait

I sit upon my porch
Gazing out over the hill
Wondering what
Shall become of me still

Wondering why
I am in this place
Alone
Without any company to grace

Wondering why
Throughout my life
Under the open sky
Why I had such strife

Wondering why
Such waste
Good not have been
Gone with much more haste

Yet every hardship is
A stepping stone in life
a step, or a leap
Away from such strife

So I sit alone
Watching the sun set
Over on yonder hill
Thinking of one
That with love
My heart does fill

I will wait
I will be still

In every walk of nature

One receives far more than he seeks...
